Dear Bro. Carr, I don’t have a blog, so if it is alright with you I will borrow your space, though I may not have a blog, I do have a Bible, this movement today that says you aren’t sucessful if you don’t have such and such a number of people saved each year is not in my KJV bible. Reading it I find that numbers wasn’t our Saviours concern, but the souls of men. With that said I guess I will support “What I AM” along with you. Thanks Bro. for the encouragement.

God Bless you Brother you are not alone. I hate the word Calvanist and Reformer, these are all man made terms with man made ideologies. We base our beliefs on the scripture and scripture alone. I can say along with Spurgeon when he was asked “If you really believe what you are saying then why do you preach” his reply “because God has not put a yellow streak on them for us to know who they are. We are to preach the gospel for our Lord and not for results that is in his hand, and further more no matter what you believe the outcome is going to be the same. We serve an Eternal God who has Eternal thoughts not temporary thoughts so I believe in His Eternal Work.

While I cannot articulate it as well as you did, I consider myself the same. I am still bumbfounded that God would save me and then call me to preach. I am so unworthy but I know without a doubt that I’ve been born again and called to preach the word of God. I have seen people leave the church because I preach stright and hard, but I had rather see them leave for that reason than for me tiptoeing throug the tulips. I ask that you pray for our church and me as their pastor. God bless you Brother.
